Privacy Policy
Last updated: 05/11/2026In Plain English
We hate long, confusing legal documents as much as you do. To respect your time, here is a summary of how we handle your privacy. The full legal text follows below.
- What we collect: We collect your email for your account, usage data to improve the app, and voice recordings only when you use the AI Tutor to practice.
- Money: We never see your credit card numbers. Payments are handled securely by Stripe (Web) or Apple/Google (Mobile).
- No Selling: We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. We use tracking and analytics to understand which paid ads and campaigns lead to app installs and selected app activity, to measure product usage, and to make Pronuncia better.
- Service Providers: We share data with specific tools that help us run the app (like Sentry for crash reports and diagnostics, Microsoft Clarity for session replay and UX monitoring, TelemetryDeck and Mixpanel for product analytics, or AppsFlyer for install attribution and marketing analytics). Some of these tools receive account-linked, device-linked, or advertising identifiers when permitted by your device settings.
- Control: Some voice recordings are used to improve our AI Tutor. You can opt out of this or ask us to delete your data at any time using the Contact Info below.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?
We collect information about you when you interact with our site and mobile application. What types of information we collect depends on how you use this Service. This information may include:

Voice Recordings
We collect voice recordings (”Voice Recordings”) when you practice with our Artificial Intelligence tutor (”AI Tutor”) through the App. Please note that the Service only records when you are interacting with our AI Tutor or otherwise recording your voice for practice, and does not access the microphone at any other time.
How Recordings are Handled:- Storage: Recordings are stored permanently until you request deletion. This allows you to listen to previous recordings to track your progress over time.
- Linkage: Recordings are linked to your user ID within our database to provide your history.
- AI Training: When used for training our AI models, recordings are anonymized.
- Opt-out: If you opt out of model training, your audios are saved for your personal use and history but are not used in the training of models.
- Deletion: If you request account deletion, all your voice data and recordings are permanently deleted.
Consent: By using the AI Tutor, you consent to the recording and processing of your voice as described above. Before your first recording session, the app will request microphone access. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings, which will prevent further recordings but will not delete existing recordings.
AI Training Consent: Your voice recordings may be used in anonymized form to improve our AI models. You can opt out of AI training use at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through the in-app setting (when available), without affecting your ability to use the Service.
